47 handwritten notebook lined pages. I worked for years on a sequal to the 1978 film Midnight Express. Billy Hayes was the subject of that film, and from 1994-2001 he and I collaborated on the sequal screenplay (Midnight Return). So far (2011) the sequal has not been made. I scribbled the 47 handwritten notes in this folder during talks with Billy in Los Angeles on May 2, 1995.
