Scrapbook contains original engraving samples of typical 19th century designs - such as political, journalistic, and military figures (George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, William Nast), dramatic historical scenes (Peter the Great crossing the Neva), industrial buildings and structures, and numerous advertisements (a few in German).
