Title Papers of San Pedro and Cañon del Agua Grants
This incomplete, bound, printed volume contains copies of various legal documents showing the history of ownership of the San Pedro and Cañon del Agua Grants from 1844 to 1880. There are deeds, field claims, briefs, decisions of the Surveyor General of New Mexico, descriptive notes of surveys, petitions of Jose Serafin Ramirez y Casanova, title of the San Pedro and Cañon del Agua Company, quitclaim deed from owners of Ortiz Grant and other legal documents.

Torrance County, N.M. Records,
Collection consists of the records of Torrance County, New Mexico (1905-1957). Included are records of the county clerk (1905-1932), assessor (1905-1923), treasurer (1910-1922), sheriff (1909-1937), county commissioners (1923-1935), justice of the peace (1909-1957), and superintendent of schools (1907-1923). Clerks records consist of oversize license registers.

Translations of Provincial Journals
This box contains longhand transcriptions of the original Spanish minutes of the Mexican legislative sessions in Santa Fe for a large part of the Mexican period of New Mexico. One session recorded in the folders was held on August 8, 1846 [Folder 19], and records the body's consternation at the invasion of United States forces numbering 5,000 marching upon the capitol city.

Trent Thomas Papers,
Collection consists primarily of Trent Thomass correspondence concerning his employment as an architect in California and New Mexico from 1918 to 1951. Also included are photographs of various buildings in New Mexico and Arizona from the Historical American Buildings Survey, including San Xavier del Bac Mission near Tucson and the New Mexico School for the Deaf in Santa Fe.

True Survey of the Western Boundary of the Hugh Stephenson Grant or Brazito Tract
Collection contains four volumes of the survey. Volume 1 contains the 1877 survey and field notes. All three volumes contain testimonies and interviews of witnesses produced in 1908. The "True Survey" is a copy from Records Group 49 held at the National Archives, Washington D.C. Volume 1 (pages 1-237); Volume 2 (pages 238-589); Volume 3 (pages 590-866). Volume 4 holds miscellaneousl Brazito Land Grant materials.
