Roy Tilghman Collection
One folders containing misc documents including wills, land transfers and other legal matters; religious books and a job of José Salaices, 1789-1818. The sketch includes information regarding Apache campaigns. A descriptive inventory is included with the documents. Many of the documents have been roughly translated.

The collection consists of correspondence and related materials of Royal A. Prentice dating from the 1930s. These literary materials consist of Prentice's correspondence relative to his avid hobby of Southwestern archaeology; which included a very close association with the Museum of New Mexico's Laboratory of Anthropology.

Ruben Cobos Collection of Southwestern Folklore and Folk Music
The collection consists of 591 recordings of folk songs, folklore and local histories collected by Ruben Cobos from 1944-1974 in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. Also included are 270 additional recordings of selected music - a few from New Mexico, many from Mexico and Latin America, and others from Spain, Europe and the U.S.

Collection consists of correspondence, published articles, audio tapes of interviews, photographs and other graphics describing and depicting pano art or "handkerchief art," a folk art tradition that originated among incarcerated Hispanics. Padilla and artist Mark Garcia were interviewed in 1991, and Padilla was interviewed in 1994 by Rudy Miera.

Ruth K. Hall Manuscripts
Collection consists of one manuscript and one page proof version of Hall's book "A Place of Her Own: The Story of Elizabeth Garrett," and one letter concerning its publication. Garrett, the daughter of Sheriff Pat Garrett, was a noted blind singer in the early 20th century in New Mexico, and wrote "O Fair New Mexico," which became the official state song. The manuscript is typed with handwritten corrections and additions by Hall.
