Scope and Content
This small collection consists of a photocopy typescript, "Spanish-American Folk Stories of some New Mexico Saints" and 7 typed letters from Marriott to Clark Kimball of Rydal Press in Santa Fe, (1985-1989). The manuscript is written in the vernacular of an old Spanish-American dialect of English in which her friend Jos? de la Cruz Romero relayed the stories of the saints to Marriott. The letters primarily discuss the potential for publication of this manuscript.

Abstract
The collection consists of the personal materials of Alice Martin King wife of three-time New Mexico Governor Bruce King (1971-1974; 1979-1982; 1991-1994). This collection is devoted almost exclusively to her official capacity as the First Lady of New Mexico. While there is a small amount of material from the first term, the majority of documents are concentrated on the second term and to a much greater degree on the third term when she played a much more significant role.

Includes correspondence between Colonel Allison F. H. Scott, a retired Las Cruces Army officer, and prominent figures of the time regarding anti-Communist activities. Among the significant correspondents are J. Edgar Hoover, George Bush, Howard Flieger (the editor of the U.S. News and World Report), Senators John Tower and Strom Thurmond and Congressman James M. Collins. The collection also includes a planning folder for a 1976 Rotary Club banquet honoring General Hugh Milton.

Collection consists of pension claim, describing Anaya as the widow of Bernardo Anaya, 1st Cavalry, New Mexico Volunteers, who died at Ft. Wingate, AZ in 1864. Claim is followed up by the Merchants Cooperative Association which noticed irregularities in her statement given to her lawyer Albert Elsberg.

This collection of three scrapbooks and one folder of letters to Ash, includes an amalgamation of news clippings. One scrapbook of clippings belonged to Ash's relative, Viola Tennessee Ash, who homesteaded in Clovis, N.M. The rest of the collection belonged to Ash. Two scrapbooks are filled with news articles about people and events of interest to Ash.
