Scope and Contents This ms. has no chapters. On my computer it's Jmonique.10. Many corrections begun April 2013. Early draft of BOOK TWO. Begins in Nov. 1942 when Dad leaves Miami after Monique's death, joins Marines, at war in S.Pacific, occupies China in 1945-46, marries Brownie, divorces her, and this manuscript ends with Grandpa's death (his dad's death) in 1958. Many corrections, edits, inserts, Post-Its begun in April 2013. It's paginated pages 428-665.

Scope and Contents This is a clean draft, hand paginated, master copy of Jmonique.12 on my computer. Dad and Monique's lives until her 1942 death. Then 2 chapters of him joining Marines, going to war until 1945. Followed by 25-page epilogue to "wrap up" the story without going into Dad and my lives in BOOK TWO (which I eventually will do, leading up to his death in 1998). 424 pages plus 25-page epilogue.

Scope and Contents This manuscript is labelled "March 1, 2013, Fourth Draft," but I started hand-corrections of this ms. on May 24, 2013, and continued off and on until December 2013. Contains edits and inserts. Lots of cuts, scribbles, and chapter shiftings. Still covers Pop and Monique 1930s teen years, then they meet in 1937, marry at end of 1938, their marriage in Berkeley 1939-1942, and her death in Miami Beach on August 4, 1942. Followed by Pop joining Marines, marries Brownie, Marine training until 1945....

Following Monique and David through their childhoods and field zoology adventures for American Museum and Monique's arrival in U.S, her fun life at Peacock Point estate 1931-32, and her adventures out west in 1933, and then describes David and Monique's courtship in 1937-38, their married life in Berkeley, CA, up to start of Aquatic Park census and Monique pregnant with me. 256 pages.

Includes David and Monique's childhoods, teenage adventures, their courtship, marriage until Monique's death after which Pop leaves Miami after fighting Mamita for custody of me and placing me in his sister, Aunt Mollie's, care for the next 3 years. 442 pages.
