Scope and Contents

This is a clean draft, hand paginated, master copy of Jmonique.12 on my computer. Dad and Monique's lives until her 1942 death. Then 2 chapters of him joining Marines, going to war until 1945. Followed by 25-page epilogue to "wrap up" the story without going into Dad and my lives in BOOK TWO (which I eventually will do, leading up to his death in 1998). 424 pages plus 25-page epilogue.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
