Scope and Contents

This is PART 1 of a draft of the book, and includes chapters 1-75. On my computer it's Jmonique.14. CLEAN DRAFT. Following Monique and David through their childhoods and field zoology adventures for American Museum and Monique's arrival in U.S, her fun life at Peacock Point estate 1931-32, and her adventures out west in 1933, and then describes David and Monique's courtship in 1937-38, their married life in Berkeley, CA, up to start of Aquatic Park census and Monique pregnant with me. 256 pages.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
