Chester C. Travelstead Papers

Abstract Chester C. Travelstead was the Dean of the College of Education at the University of New Mexico from 1956-1968. The vast majority of the collection regards the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) during the 1960s. In the collection is also personal correspondence and newspapers and newsletters commemorating UNM's 75th anniversary in 1964.

Chuck Mittlestadt Collection

Abstract Chuck Mittlestadt (August 4, 1927 to December 24, 2010) was born Francis Charles Mittlestadt. He worked in Albuquerque as a free-lance writer and publicist. He also handled publicity for the New Mexico State Fair and was instrumental in the development of the New Mexico Film Office.
