It also includes limited correspondence concerning the business, particularly letters seeking payment on past due accounts. Albuquerque Wool Scouring Mills Minute Book

Scope and Content This collection consists of a single volume that primarily contains the minutes of annual meetings. The minutes generally show the election of officers for the coming year, the distribution of stock and the distribution of dividends. Late entries indicate the business had fallen on hard times. Early minutes are hand written, the final four entries are typewritten and tipped in to the volume. Abstract The Armijo and Gallagher families papers include personal, business and legal documents primarily concerning Nestor Armijo’s involvement in mercantile and ranching interests during the late-1800s in southern New Mexico. The bulk of the papers document how the Armijo family established itself as one of the most well-known mercantile families of territorial New Mexico. A good deal of material pertains to the Armijo home, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
