Sam Adams Photograph Collection
Albright Art Parlors Photographs
This collection consists of portraits of local dignitaries, politicians and people of note which were produced in the Albright Art Parlors studios in Santa Fe and Albuquerque between 1880 and 1912 by resident operators. These portraits (on cabinet, boudoir and some larger card stock) offer a glimpse into the people and styles current in New Mexico during this period of time.
Amelia Elizabeth White and Martha Root White Photograph Collection
Collection of photographs and 5 photograph albums. Photographs document the White sisters' trips to Guatemala, Mexico, and Honduras and include images of archaeological sites, ruins, landscapes, villges, and people, including Percy and Alice Jackson, Herbert Spinden, and Edgar L. Hewett. The collection has duplicates of many of the photographs in varying sizes, including small Kodak 2.25 x 3 in. photographs. Many of the duplicates appear in the albums.
Tex Austin Rodeo Photographs Collection
Image collection related to John Van "Tex" Austin, rodeo promoter and owner of the Forked Lightning Ranch. The collection contains over 1,000 items including photographs, film and glass negatives and ephemera on the subject of rodeos.

This small collection comes from the personal collection of Kenneth Chapman and includes photographs he had taken as well as those he collected for research purposes. Many of the photos were grouped into envelopes and labeled probably by Kenneth Chapman, which have been retained as a group.

Coalition for Prisoners' Rights Photographs
Photographs and film negatives from the 1984, 1985, 1988, and 1989 observances of the New Mexico prison uprising. Photos depict protesters, signs, media coverage, and group events from the time period.

Edward S. Curtis Photograph Collection
This artificial collection will be used to catalog Edward Curtis material from multiple accessions. Photo Archives holdings include glass plate negatives, nitrate film negatives, photogravures, photographic prints, hand colored lantern slides, and copy prints.
Some negatives (original glass plate and nitrate negatives) are Curtis's camera originals.
Daguerreotypes and Ambrotypes
This record is used to track catalogued daguerreotypes and ambrotypes not described in another collection.
Randall Davey Estate Photograph Collection
Collection of photographs from the Randall Davey Estate in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Included are gelatin silver prints, cartes-de-visite, cabinet cards, tintypes, negatives, slides and postcards related to Randall V. Davey's artwork and life in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as to members of the Holt and Cullum families.
Ann Dietz Collection: Engravings of Notable Persons
The collection consists of steel engravings of noted persons of the 18th and 19th centuries, including politicians, clergy, authors, abolitionists, military figures, and presidents. At least some of the source images are paintings by Alonzo Chappel, and some of the sources for his paintings were photographs (including daguerreotypes).
Donald S. Heath Collection
The Donald S. Heath Collection contains approximately 2,000 35 mm color slides related to New Mexico subjects and events, including civil war reenactments, cowboys and gun-slinging, the Cumbres and Toltec Railway, petroglyphs, peace demonstrations, road signs and natural landscapes. .
