The Donald S. Heath Collection contains approximately 2,000 35 mm color slides related to New Mexico subjects and events, including civil war reenactments, cowboys and gun-slinging, the Cumbres and Toltec Railway, petroglyphs, peace demonstrations, road signs and natural landscapes. .

Biographical Information
Donald S. Heath (1936-2007) was born in Loma Linda, California in 1936 and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in cinematography. He moved to New Mexico in 1974 and began a professional career at Ghost Ranch and the Menaul School as a photography instructor. Heath produced, wrote, directed and filmed many productions, primarily historical and spiritual in nature.
