Leopoldo Méndez: 25 Prints Folio
The folio is a compilation of works by Méndez. This collection contains 25 wood engraving prints by Leopoldo Méndez, published in a limited edition by La Estampa Mexicana in 1943. The collection also includes one extra print which was a bookplate created by Méndez for Harold Leonard (also signed by the artist).

Miner and labor organizer. Born in Gila, New Mexico. Worked as a miner in the Southwest for 25 years and was a participant in the Empire Zinc Strike in Grant County, New Mexico during the early 1950s. Torrez was the head of the Arizona district for the Communist Party, USA. The collection contains personal information about Torrez, publications, information about social activism and Chicano identity, clippings, newsletters, correspondence, memorabilia, and photographs.

Collection consists of photocopies of land conveyances, wills, and certain other legal instruments documenting the presence of the Martinez family in and around Santa Cruz de la Canada, New Mexico, in the nineteenth century. Includes material on water rights near Santa Cruz, and a bond for the mayordomo de acequia, 1906. Many of the documents involve members of the Roybal and Mestas families.
