Scope and Contents
From the Series:
The ninth series of the Lloyd H. New Papers consists of 57 folders from 1962-2008 and is divided into 8 sub-series: Administration, Curriculum, Student Work, Events, Publications, Promotional Materials, Newsletters, and Photos.
The first sub-series, Administration, contains 11 folders of college applications, fact sheets, staff and student handbooks and address rosters, alumni association information, information about the Learning Resource Center and the Lifelong Learning Center, as well as miscellaneous information about Paolo Soleri, the designer of the outdoor Native American Performing Arts Theatre on the Santa Fe Indian School campus.
The second sub-series, Curriculum, contains 9 folders of course catalogues, instruction handbooks, and various academic program information, including documents about the Summer Arts Institute programs at IAIA.
The third sub-series, Student Work, contains 4 folders of creative writing, play scripts, performing arts, and artwork by students at IAIA.
The fourth sub-series, Events, contains 4 folders of IAIA commencement and ceremony programs and exhibition memorabilia.
The fifth sub-series, Publications, contains 17 folders of “The Writers' Reader,” “The Vincent Price Poetry Awards,” “The Anthology of Poetry and Verse,” and miscellaneous published creative writings.
The sixth sub-series, Promotional Materials, contains 4 folders of various IAIA catalogues, flyers, and brochures.
The seventh sub-series, Newsletters, contains 6 folders of IAIA newsletters published by the students and faculty.
The eighth sub-series, Photos, contains 2 folders of IAIA student and faculty photographs.
