Scope and Contents

The fifth series of the Lloyd H. New Papers consists of 14 folders of correspondence, memoranda, press clippings, reports, and essays from 1961-1967. Most interesting in this series is a report from the University of Alaska to the BIA on the potential for expansion of Alaska Native Arts and Crafts, and Mr. New’s original philosophical essays on Cultural Difference and Creative Education.
