Scope and Contents

The eighteenth series of the Lloyd H. New Papers consists of 3 sub-series: Audios and Videos, Films, and Slides and Negatives.

The first sub-series, Audios and Videos, contains VHS tapes about Mr. New, about the IAIA, and about various IAIA fashion shows. It also contains audio recordings of Louis Ballard’s music for Lloyd New’s poem, “The Gods Will Hear” (1966), as well as an interview of Mr. New by James McGrath about American Indian Literature (1969).

The second sub-series, Films, contains moving images of Mr. New's South American trip and a film about the Indian Arts and Crafts exhibition at the Native American Center for the Living Arts, known as The Turtle Museum.

The third sub-series, Slides and Negatives, contains many personal, commercial and artist images.
