This interview surveys the life and career of Dr. Frank A. English (1916-2009), an allergy specialist in Roswell, New Mexico. Born and raised in New Mexico, Dr. English returned to the state in 1947 after completing his medical education and World War II service. He started as a family practitioner in Ruidoso, then worked in family practice in Roswell. Collection consists of typed documents produced by employees of the W.P.A. and its subdivision the Federal Writer's Project in New Mexico. Most of the collection is made up of transcripts of oral history interviews conducted with New Mexicans, and folklore and stories about New Mexico and Hispanic culture in particular.
