Blumenschein, including Blumenschein's correspondence; articles and clippings about him and his work, and biographical and genealogical information. Collection also contains copies of his letters to Ellis Butler Parker. Some of the material is contained in Blumenschein's scrapbooks. Helen Blumenschein Collection

Scope and Content There is material from her war service, correspondence, drawings, and publications. Her historical writings about Taos valley and other areas in New Mexico are included. Research manuscripts on archaeology and history are in the collection. In addition, there are materials from many of the organizations that interested Blumenschein, such as the Wilderness Society. There is also banking and tax material.

Scope and Content The collection consists of correspondence between Mary Greene Blumenschein and her husband Ernest L. Blumenschein (1874-1960) and their daughter Helen G. Blumenschein (1910-1989). The content of these letters discusses artistic matters and the state of the world during World War II. There is an itemized inventory in each folder of the correspondence. The collection also contains a small amount of personal items: passports, certificates, notices, financial papers, and one medical receipt.

Abstract This is the research collection of Teresa Hayes Ebie revolving around the lives and work of notable figures of the Taos art scene in the 20th century. Much of the collection contains photocopies. There is a notable amount of audio cassettes containing interviews, the bulk of which were recorded in the 1990s.
