Scope and Content
Photocopies of various Spanish and Mexican documents related to Pueblo tribes of New Mexico. Land titles and land grants are the subject of the bulk of these materials, although some relate to intra-tribal affairs. Among the Pueblos mentioned are Laguna, Isleta, Santa Clara, Santo Domingo, Zia, Santa Ana, Jemez and Taos. All documents are in Spanish, some have attached English translations.

Collection consists of official papers of Governor Hinkle. Includes correspondence with and reports from various state agencies concerning a broad range of issues such as natural resource conservation, extension of the Navajo reservation, and Indian land rights. Most of the conservation materials relate to reclamation projects involving the Canadian, Rio Grande, Pecos, Colorado, and La Plata rivers. Scope and Content
Collection consists primarily of memorandums, documents from hearings, and minutes of meetings of the Pueblo Lands Board. Also included are letters sent and received by Roberts Walker, Chairman of the Pueblo Lands Board, and letters received by Herbert J. Hagerman, U.S. Indian Commissioner authorized to negotiate with the Pueblos. Individual files are present for the Pueblos of Nambe, Pojoaque, Tesuque, Laguna, and Acoma. Materials concerning the Navajo are also present in this collection.
