Alice Gatliff Pictorial Collection

Abstract Alice Smith Gatliff (1868-1936) was the owner of the “Curio Café” in Agua Prieta, Mexico. The collection contains postcards and photographs about the Mexican Revolution. It contains images of tourists in the Curio shop, Mexican leaders and officials, portraits of revolutionaries, trench warfare, train scenes, military camps, and prisoners at Fort Bliss.

HABS Photographs and Documentation of St. Anthony’s Orphanage Classroom-Dormitory, Auditorium, and Chapel

Abstract The collection consists of 36 black and white photographs of St. Anthony’s Orphanage in Albuquerque, NM. Photos document the classroom-dormitory, auditorium, and chapel additions to the original structure. Also included is an index to the photos, an historical narrative, and correspondence regarding HABS documentation.
