Scope and Contents Unlike the other teacher diaries, the diaries by this author contain information regarding the big picture and general operation of the school. Several entries comment on what is currently being done and what Mrs. Watson wishes to do. There are several entries relating to house calls, PTA meetings, and administrative meetings. There are also detailed character sketches on 4th grade students, extra curricular activities and the clinic.

Scope and Contents This is an extension of Watson's 1938-1938(a) diary. This short diary contains comments on exams, bussing children, disciplining children, and lists promotions and retentions by teacher and grade.

Scope and Contents This diary opens with comments on the number of enrolled students and lack of parental efforts to "provide education experiences of their children." The diary continues with a discussion and evaluation of the teachers that are part of, or have recently joined the staff. Pay records and concerns are also expressed, as well as comments from the student council. Visits to members of the community are recorded throughout, as are concerns over the ways that various children act or play with others....

Scope and Contents This diary is similar in scope to Watson's other diaries, with notable exceptions: Listing of age, birthday, grade of each student of each grade, and evaluations of each student's social and intellectual capacity. This diary also contains information on visits from distinguished visitors, photos of the school and surrounding area.
