Mrs. Watson - Nambe Principal, (a),, 1938-1939

 Item — Box: 2, Diary: 2

Scope and Contents

Like the previous diary, this diary provides insight into the big picture and general operation of the school. For example, Watson comments that lack of water is a serious concern for the coming school year. Occasionally she also lists projects that need to be completed or promoted in the classroom, such as "stress appropriate clothing." There are extensive notes on what might be called a master plan for the school, including aspirations, goals, and sub-goals. There are also extensive notes and observations on school and community related events, medical observations from the clinic, school calendars, business meetings, and other administrative projects. Throughout are notes from Cyrus McCormick in regards to official business.
