Scope and Contents

From the Series: Abstract: 3/15/2013; 6/8/2013. In tape one, Bluehouse discusses his home and community life. He outlines his early education and daily routine in boarding school. He also discusses Catholicism in Isleta. He concludes with discussing his involvement in the relocation program and his time in California during the American Indian Movement. In tape two, Bluehouse discusses his time at UNM and involvement in KIVA Club. He focuses on various groups of activism and Larry Casuse. He also elaborates on the role of music in his education and personal life. He was part of several Native bands, including XIT.
