PHOTO WORKSHOP, 1997
File — Box: 132, Folder: 36
Scope and Contents
I made a comeback to The Spirit of a Land workshop in 1997. This folder has a 1995 and 1996 catalogue as well as a 1997 Ray McSavaney Photographic Workshop catalogue with one of my pictures in it. There is also a list of participants, a schedule, and maps of Taos. Plus 2 letters between Ray and me. And a beautiful miniature silverpoint (?) drawing by Ray that he gave to me. A pamphlet on a lecture by Joel Meyerowitz that Ray gave to me; Meyerowitz was my hero, especially his book, "A Summer's Day." Included too are a couple of Museum of San Diego publications featuring images by Ray. And some materials agitating for the protection of Bluff, Utah, a place where Ray did much photographic work. (Pages numbered 1-7 at bottom of page.)
