NOVEL NOTES, 1970s - PART THREE, 1970s

 File — Box: 131, Folder: 36

Scope and Contents

These typed notes (pages 86-149), continued from the notes above, are more difficult to pinpoint chronologically than the notes above but they are a continuation of them. They jump around. When they talk about Harry and Lorraine they're referring to a novel I worked on (and never published) between 1974-1976 called Down in Guatemala. Other notes seem related to The Magic Journey (published in 1978). Some material is related to A Ghost in the Music (published in 1979). So apparently a portion of these notes predate stuff for The Nirvana Blues. Of course, all my books were percolating simultaneously. Occasionally dates are mentioned, like 1975, or 1972. I don't remember what order I typed things up. I kept envelopes in boxes and occasionally just reached in, grabbed a bunch, and typed them.
