Biographical / Historical

Georgia O'Keeffe (November 15, 1887-March 6, 1986) was an American artist. She is best known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe met the photographer Alfred Stieglitz in 1917 and, after he divorced his first wife, married him in 1924.

Abstract This is the research collection of Teresa Hayes Ebie revolving around the lives and work of notable figures of the Taos art scene in the 20th century.
