Crescent Club records
The Crescent Club, a women’s service club formed in Anthony, New Mexico/Texas in 1913 was a member of the New Mexico Federation of Women’s Clubs and General Federation of Women’s Clubs. This collection of yearbooks and scrapbooks includes a history of the club written in 1983.
New Mexico Federation of Women's Clubs Records
The New Mexico Federation of Women Clubs [NMFWC] is part of the national organization General Federation of Women's Clubs [GFWC], which supervises state chapters. The regional and local chapters, in turn, reported to the NMFWC. The chapters function under the auspices of the NMFWC, and are largely subject to their constitutions, by-laws and governing principles. In Santa Fe, the club was originally called Woman's Board of Trade and Library Association.
New Mexico Federation of Women’s Clubs Scrapbooks
Collection consists of five scrapbooks, three with hardboard covers and two with wooden covers, concerning the Federation of Women’s Clubs and Frances M. Goddard, President and Director of the New Mexico Federation of Women’s Clubs, 1937-1941.
Woman’s Aladdin Club records
The Woman’s Aladdin Club was formed in Canutillo Texas in 1913 and worked closely with the neighboring Crescent Club of Anthony in social, cultural, public service and philanthropic projects until dissolving in the 1990s. This collection of club records includes meeting minutes from the club’s founding to 1986, financial records, yearbooks and scrapbooks.
Woman's Club of Albuquerque Records
This collection contains the records of the Woman's Club of Albuquerque from its founding in 1903 until 2010. Included are financial records, minutes of meetings of the executive board, general club membership, and writers department. A large portion of the collection is the Club's scrapbooks detailing its work and community involvement through the years.
