This collection consists of 234 black and white photographs from the Mexican Punitive Expedition, which was commanded by General John J. Pershing in the aftermath of Pancho Villa's raid on Columbus, New Mexico on March 9, 1916. The collection includes several pictures taken by one of Dr. Musgrave’s friends or relatives who, as reporter for an Ohio newspaper, covered the events following Villa’s raid.
