High-altitude aerial imagery in the form of vertical photographs, oblique photographs, photomosaics, Landsat images, multispectral images, negatives, and mylar transparencies may be found in this subseries. Certain file folders also include supporting documentation for the photography. A majority of the images represents National Park Service sites and their surrounding areas, particularly those located in the southwest region of the United States. The photography served a variety of purposes, including mapping, cultural resource tracking, park planning, etc. Some photographs are annotated or come with overlays highlighting specific natural features or potential sites of interest. Additional interpretive materials are located in Series III: Project Files.
