Scope and Contents Records flour mill grain receipts and shipments and "Water Rent," reflecting irrigation from the five (or seven) mile ditch excavated to supply water to the Huning Mill. By 1897, the mill was no longer in operation and these entries indicate that the Louis Huning was apparently selling (renting) water for irrigation to landowners with access to the ditch.
