Scope and Content From the Collection: The bulk of the letters in this collection (16) are written by ship chandler, Antonio-Fernandez Ceballos in Matanzas, Cuba to his “estranged" wife, living in Maine. The letters begin and end affectionately but carry a bullying tone.
