Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection contains two card-mounted photographs (4.5 x 7.75 in.) from the Emil Mühl collection. The photographs are by J. C. Burge, and they depict an army field hospital in the vicinity of Kingston, New Mexico, where Mühl served as a civilian "contract surgeon" for the army. Mühl appears in both photos, along with other personnel and wounded.
