Scope and Content
Black-and-white portraits (28 x 35 cm.) of New Mexican Hispanic women made to accompany an oral history project. The photographs were exhibited at the Center for Southwest Research in Fall, 1994. The title of the exhibition was "Mujeres de la Tierra del Sol." The addition to the collection contains black-and-white portraits of New Mexican Hispanic women which correspond to 25 later interviews.

Photographer, born in Havana, Cuba. Moved to Mexico in 1959, the United States in 1980, settling in New Mexico in 1982.
