Biography / History

In 2016 a group of University of New Mexico, University Libraries staff and faculty stated their opposition to the Kenneth Adams paintings in the Zimmerman library. Their call for its removal renewed discussions about the decades old controversy. This started a series of administrative meetings, task forces, undergrad mural classes, presentations, statements, publications and media write-ups.

Material collected for research in opposition to the controversial Kenneth Adams “Three Peoples” paintings exhibited in the old west-wing walls of the Zimmerman Library at the University of New Mexico.
