Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The collection documents efforts to establish the Dr. J. I. Dunham Medical Clinic in Chama, New Mexico, in the 1970s. The clinic was named in honor of the only physican in Chama at the time, Dr. J. I. (James Isaac) Dunham, who was killed in an automobile accident in 1970. Robert Brashar of Chama served as president of the J. I. Dunham Memorial Association, which led the efforts to establish the clinic.

The collection consists of organizational documents, board of directors' meeting notices and minutes, and correspondence.
