Notes from transcription. Lee and Ramona. Continuation Lee and Ramona talking about why Lee’s collection should be at CSWR, UNM. Comments on Lee’s book with Czech photos and the book from his birthday 2007, computer problems, need computer for photo work. Return to topic of Ward Alan Minge, met him through George Pearl, not Art Bibo. Plan to talk to Lee’s brother, who lives in Los Chavez, about family history. Lee talks about the Laguna Pueblo Fiesta in September, Laguna Eagle Dance, Geraldo Rivera interview with Leslie, her book Ceremony. Comments on Lee’s family members that had attended the California Sherman Institute, Indian Boarding Schools, they all seemed happy with it, apparently not abused, jobs held by some of his relatives. His grandmother, his Dad’s mother, Marie A. Marmon, took first group of Pueblos to Carlisle Indian School, like a matron, spoke English, but was full-blooded Indian, from Powabi Village. Comments on his aunts Edith and Bess, worked and lived in Albuquerque, Edith Avenue, Walter Avenue, Jim, Maggie, Ed, home in Magdalena.
