Scope and Contents
This box contains correspondence, G.,K. &Co. and Clarence Iden (Iden was president and treasurer of G.,K. &Co. in the 1930's) with banks, commission houses (esp. James Hewins & Sons--Wool of Boston), wool shippers and wool buying agents. The letters often have attached: Memorandums of Sale, Statements covering shipping, and Statements covering consignment. Other business forms included are: Bills of Lading, Shipping Orders, Customer's Drafts (cancelled), cancelled Checke (G.,K. &Co.), Joint Account Brokerage Statements, Sales Invoices, Advices of Entry, Wool Contracts and others.
