Scope and Contents
Lecture on localismos continued (poor to fair recording, in Spanish, hard to hear some words, very gravelly, he continues to read words from the list he gave the class and talk about them; among his examples Cobos includes some Spanish words, verbs, that are used in inditas and tells the story of Manuel Maes, el cibolero, killed by his own lance, when his horse fell; also tells about the Baca family land grant, Las Vegas, New Mexico, and Fabiola Cabeza de Vaca, and then he continues with other words. Sometimes the student discuss the words with him and give examples they know).
