From the Collection:
This collection consists of Anita Merle York’s scrapbook which she kept from 1923-1926, while an undergraduate student at UNM. The scrapbook contains photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings, dance cards, memorabilia, sports programs, and theater programs. Some loose items arrived with the scrapbook. These items were placed in a folder and include York’s diploma from UNM, a copy of her transcript, and a program from a concert.

The spoon fell out of the scrapbook and was placed in its own envelope. It was attached to the scrapbook by a ribbon, which is now torn in half. A marker has been placed in the scrapbook to show where the spoon was originally placed.
