This artificial collection contains three series:
Series 1: The Paul Groth collection of J. B. Jackson American slides
This series consists of 3,300 slides used by Jackson to teach the course "History of American Cultural Landscape" at Berkeley. The overall organization of the Groth teaching slides went from broad to specific following Jackson’s own organization. The slides are organized in ten groups.
Series 2: The Marc Treib collection of J. B. Jackson European slides
This series consists of 500 slides used by Jackson to teach the course "Studies of European Landscape" at U.C. Berkeley from the 1960s to 1980s.
Series 3: The Chris Wilson collection of J. B. Jackson American slides
This series consists of slides used by J.B. Jackson and Chris Wilson. Many are part of Jackson's set given to Paul Groth, Series 1.
Series 4: Unprocessed Materials
This series consists of two boxes of unprocessed materials from various sources.
