Scope and Content

From the Collection: The collection consists of writings (mostly by Hughes); course, curriculum, and program materials; notes; and resources documenting Marie Hughes’ career as an educator in Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. Hughes’ career focused on early education, curriculum, teaching prospective teachers, multicultural education, and community involvement in early education. A small amount of personal material includes Hughes’ vita, bibliography, and index of her professional library.
