Abstract: 6/19/2012. Roseanne Willink details her experience and involvement in the creation of the Navajo Language Program at UNM. She discusses the various people who were involved in its inception as well as challenges they faced in institutionalizing Native languages at UNM. She broadly describes the development of Navajo language through various texts, programs and community initiatives in efforts to help preserve the language.
