BOOK TOUR FOR "CONJUGAL BLISS", FEBRUARY-MARCH 1994

 File — Box: 136, Folder: 58

Scope and Contents

This book tour for Conjugal Bliss almost killed me. I was locked in congestive heart failure that would require open-heart surgery on May 4. Still, I did New Mexico signings, then went to San Francisco, Berkeley, Palo Alto, Corte Madera, Portland, Tucson, Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Ft. Collins, and Chicago. This folder contains 54 pages: They comprise letters with Holt publicist Ruth Weiner and schedules of signings and activities and the usual please for payment of expense receipts. There's a note from my daughter Tania. Page 54 (which is actually an envelope note) records a phone call with my heart doctor Leuker setting up my open heart surgery for May 4, 1994. This book tour was not a fun trip. Folder also includes 2 other envelope notes and a Cover Jacket for Conjugal Bliss.
