Scope and Contents
In this folder are: 1.) 54 total pages, with first 35 pages related to book tour scheduling and expenses discussed in correspondence with Holt publicist Ruth Weiner. 2.) Pages 36-49 are carbons of my thank-you notes to booksellers and others and one thank-you from them to me. 3.) Pages 50-53 relate to a riff I gave at the Western States Book Award at a Holt ABA reception in Anaheim May 22, 1992. 4.) Letter to me from Refuse &Resist. 5.) Invite to a reception in honor of 4 Holt writers (including me) at Disneyland Hotel May 24, 1992. There's also a note from Nancy Rutland to me. (See my book tour journal/diary in the YELLOW MEAD NOTEBOOK, 1992 mentioned just above.)

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
