Scope and Contents
I spent a week in N.Y. with Costa-Gavras working on a script for the film "Warday." We were lodged by the studio at the Helmsley Palace. This folder contains 5 letters, Xeroxes, and calculations regarding my expenses from me to the office of producer, Eddie Lewis, also plane tickets and receipts, a pamphlet touting the lavish Helmsley Palace, and their marvelous itemized bill for my stay when the studio was paying $180 a night for my room. Talk about excess!

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
