NICARAGUA, December 1983

 File — Box: 136, Folder: 19

Scope and Contents

I spent 9 days in Nicaragua during the Purisima celebrations of December 1983, a very important experience in my life. It was during the height of the Sandinista revolution. My Manuscript Files, BOX 27, FOLDERS 12-17, contain my diary notes, articles, and a short book I wrote about the experience. This folder contains only an Albuquerque Journal Impact Magazine from February 28, 1984, with an article I wrote on the trip called "After the Triumph." The same Impact Magazine has a photo-essay on Nicaragua by my friend Margaret Randall.
