Scope and Contents
5 typed pages. I've taken one raft trip on the Rio Grande, this is it. With 5 friends. Weird, hilarious trip. I used these 5 pages for an article (in Albuquerque Journal Impact Magazine, June 23, 1983) titled "Rafting the Rio." Article was reprinted in UNM Press's Dancing on the Stones, titled: "Rafting? Schmafting! I Want My River Back!" This folder also includes a copy of the rafting article in the June 23, 1983 Impact Magazine. (See also RAFTING NOTES, MAY 30, 1983 in my Activities Files, BOX 90, FOLDER 5.)

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
