HAMILTON HOCKEY, 1960-1961

 File — Box: 135, Folder: 22

Scope and Contents

This was my Junior year. Everyone had graduated from our 2 great previous teams. Now we were terrible...but had a fine goalie, Teddy Marks. This folder has 7 newspaper articles on our team and our games, and programs for games with Cornell and Army. We got killed by Middlebury, whose Phil Latreille, the nation's leading scorer, scored 5 goals. And Dates Fryberger, the last Fryberger brother, scored a pair. I played against the 3 Frybergers (who went to Kent prep school, then Middlebury) all through my years at Loomis, and all through my college years too. I never beat them. Latreille played briefly for the NY Rangers. Frybergers played on the US Olympic team.
