MEET THE FRESHMEN, HAMILTON CLASSES OF 1962, 1963, 1964, 1962-1964

 File — Box: 135, Folder: 8

Scope and Contents

These books with freshmen photos were mainly used for fraternity rushing. Hamilton was dependent on fraternities for food, shelter, entertainment. There was "100 percent opportunity." Every freshman was "guaranteed" a bid. (See my novel, THE STERILE CUCKOO, and my essay, AN AMERICAN CHILD SUPREME.) This folder has: 1.) 2 copies of the Class of 1962 (my class) Meet The Freshmen). One is clean; from the other I cut out pictures of the boys who pledged Theta Delta Chi with me. 2.) A copy of the Class of 1963, with my notations on who Theta Delt should rush or avoid. 3.) A copy of the Class of 1964, with some of my check marks on who to rush, who to avoid.
