HOLTER MONITOR NOTES (22), APRIL 12-13, 2010

 File — Box: 134, Box: 134A

Scope and Contents

I started 2010 diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. My cardiologist put me on a Holter monitor outfit, and, among other things, I climbed Devisadero Trail and came up with a heart beating 165-180s, which wasn't good. These pages are my little diary while I wore the Holter monitor. The heart condition pretty much ended my alpine hikes for the year 2010. (I'm still alive on March 13, 2011, although the big Taos Freeze and my loss of natural gas for 5 days and electricity also during nighttime temperatures of -24 to -12 degrees from February 3-9, 2011 has almost killed me.)
